I've heard so much about the film version of Rosemary's Baby, but I wanted to read the book on which it was based first. Written by Ira Levin - who also wrote The Stepford Wives - the novel follows a young lady called Rosemary Woodhouse who becomes pregnant with the son of satan. Yes, it's spooky. And while the book is great, I loved the film version even more - mainly because of Mia Farrow and her incredible 1960s wardrobe.
I'm a big fan of 60s fashion, so this film is pretty much an homage of how I want to dress. Simple shift dresses, Peter Pan collars, flat shoes, fake eyelashes, headbands, quilted Chanel handbags - every outfit change is to die for.
And while much has been written about Farrow's famed pixie cut, I have to admit: I liked her blonde bob better. It almost makes me want to be a blonde again...
