blush

See, despite my hurtful ways I can still make you blush
Blush - The Raveonettes (Lust Lust Lust)

Kenzo - S/S 09

I blush when I'm nervous. I blush when I'm embarrassed. I'm both shy and pale, which is a curse, especially in Australia, but I'm trying to think of it as a blessing. It's charming, right? I live in hope.

Blushing walks a fine line - it signifies innocence (Blushing is the colour of virtue, said Diogenes), but at the same time, it's kind of dirty - hence Nars Orgasm, the best selling blush of all time, surely. It's had the most column inches anyway.

My favourite is Benefit Dandelion - it's pretty, although most of the time, I don't need blush at all.
