I'm not a very good photographer, despite having worked as one for a few years. But I do like order, and I like documenting things. I like photos of the same thing over and over. For some reason, my favourite thing to take photographs of are beds. Particularly empty ones with crumpled sheets. White sheets, in morning light. I've taken photos of almost every bed I've slept in, give or take a few. Hotels, our house, couches, fold-outs, my house, your house. I'm thinking it could make a nice book. Is that strange?
