pretty things

It’s raining. I’m meant to be writing about sunglasses. Instead, here are nine pretty things that I like at the moment (I tried to do ten but got bored...):

I love the washed out colours and slightly creepy vibe. It makes me feel nostalgic for something, I'm not quite sure what. She's taken photos for i-D, Pop, Tank and Lula.

3. Anticipating summer picnics

Wouldn't it be lovely to be able to take this pink wicker picnic basket to the park?

4. Heaven is a place on earth:

I have a weird thing for bookshelves and bookshops. The quiet studious feel, the smell, the organisation. Secondhand books stores are the best, but any bookstore will do.

5. White, white, white

I love white duvets, white tablecloths, white flowers, white bookshelves, white walls, and this white cuckoo clock.

7. Viewmaster

Remember when you were younger and could spend hours flicking through the images? I miss being entertained so easily.

8. Vintage fans

They're so pretty and ladylike. Unfortunately I have a knack for breaking them...

9. Private Benjamin

Long before Elle Woods was a fish out of water at law school, Judy Benjamin was a fish out of water in the army. One of my favourite films; it almost makes me want to break out the camo.
