jeff koons at versailles
What, by rights, sounds completely incongruous just works so well. Jeff Koons and his cartoon-esque metallic bubble sculptures sit amongst the heady, elaborate decadence of the Versailles palace. Beautiful!
What's really great in art is the physicality that it can have, the strength of a colour, how pink a pink can be, how turquoise a turquoise can be, how a certain sensual quality can express itself. (Koons)
