I never feel "properly dressed" - always under or over. When I'm wearing heels, I wish I was in flats. When I'm in jeans and a vintage teeshirt, I wish I was wearing a dress. When I dress for a work function, I end up at a dirty bar surrounded by emaciated 18 year olds in black lace and leopard print. And vice versa. Is there a happy medium, a failsafe, go-anywhere type outfit? Or is it all in ones head? I just worked on a big article about eclectic, individualistic style - colourful, vulnerable women like Isabella Blow and Anna Piaggi, and their unmissable style - fascinating, but I more subscribe to unobtrusive, simple dressing. I'm confused. But I think that's all part of the fun. Thoughts?
