I came across this installation by Femke de Vries today. It's called Unstated Statements - it's about lack, a loss, nonexistence. Where text is normally located on a teeshirt is simply a void. Silence can speak volumes - think of a comfortable silence between those so intimate, the space between notes, blank space on a page. I like not knowing - it's usually far more interesting than what really lies within and beneath.
