paper chaser

"I’m not interested in money, I just want to be wonderful."
I can appreciate Marilyn Monroe's naivete, but oh my gosh - what an idiot! Wonderfulness isn't enough for a house and it doesn't get you to London (well, actually, I guess it could if you were OK with being a kept woman). Money talks. I'm all about the benjamins right now, trying to save as much money as I can. But it's hard! I'm really bad at it, but really good at throwing my pay out the window, spending it all on clothes, brunches, lunches, dinners, imported magazines, shoes and then some more clothes. But no longer: I'm turning over a new leaf. Do you have any good saving tips? I guess the only one I can think of is "suck it up and stop spending $500 on a dress".
