Swoon, I love Prada. I'm very lucky because I was recently given the new Prada book. It is a brick of a thing and I am yet to really get into it, but it looks incredible from what I have flicked through so far. It examines every single tiny detail of the brand, with pages dedicated to showcasing every runway outfit they've ever done, and each seasonal campaign! I can't wait to read more. And I can't wait for the day when I can afford to wear Prada (which, let's get realistic, will probably be never). The latest collection walked in Milan today, examining the idea of female sexuality right now (although doesn't every Prada collection do this?), and this time it's all about "female cliches that women can't give up" - bows, ruffles, full skirts. I want to wear it all. I like Cathy Horyn's
summation of the collection, in which she wrote, "The world of women is vast, Ms. Prada seemed to be saying, and not everyone is a teenage runway zombie". Indeed.
